Our late dog (some years ago, he's dead now) got a cone too. He was rather depressed about it, until he found good use of it. It was during winter and when he went out, running free (we lived out in the woods basicly) he would push the edge of the cone into the snow and then flip his head back up, throwing snow up in the air. And then he'd jump up on to legs and try to catch the snow in his mouth. He was a really cool dog (also, he was afraid of the dark XD I miss him)
You are so kind. When Osito dons the cone of shame, many hours of laughter on my part begin. Namely with how often he runs into doors and when he eats from his bowl, it's hilarious looking.
